Kazakhstan’s leading restaurant holding, AB Restaurants LLP, is preparing to place its inaugural two-year bond issue worth KZT 2 billion on the Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE). The placement is being arranged by Teniz Capital Investment Banking JSC. As this offering on KASE is structured as an exclusive placement, the number of investors eligible to hold AB Restaurants LLP bonds will be limited to 50 participants. The bonds will be issued with a yield to maturity of 21.75% and quarterly coupon payments. The placement is scheduled for Friday, 21 November, and the investment bank is already collecting orders.

Assel Tolegen, Director of the Corporate Finance Department at Teniz Capital Investment Banking JSC, noted that “participation in the AB Restaurants placement is an opportunity to become part of the dynamic growth story of a well-known Kazakhstani brand in the restaurant industry. The issuer offers an attractive yield balanced with prudent risk, while demonstrating stable financial performance and growing cash flow.”

AB Restaurants currently operates around 50 restaurants across Kazakhstan. This year alone, the holding has opened seven new venues and launched two new concepts — the French-inspired AMI and the Spanish-style PALOMAR. At the end of 2024, Bank RBK became an investor in ABR, valuing the holding at USD 120 million. Last year, the company earned KZT 914 million. In addition to its restaurant portfolio, the holding is developing its own IT arm, ABR Tech. In September 2025, the abr+ mobile application ranked 17th in Forbes Kazakhstan’s list of the “Largest Online Marketplaces in Kazakhstan.”
