Teniz Capital Investment Banking JSC presents financial results for 2023 in accordance with financial statements according to the International Financial Reporting Standards with the conclusion of the independent auditor Ernst & Young LLP.

Key financial performance indicators for 2023:
net profit was 575 million tenge (2022: 31 million tenge);
return on equity (ROE) was 48.3% (2022: 6.8%);
commission income was 587 million tenge, increasing by 5.8 times compared to last year (86 million);
equity capital at the end of 2023 was 1,903 million tenge, having increased by 1,422 million tenge (+296%) due to the profit received, as well as additional capitalization of the company in the amount of 847 million tenge;
operating expenses increased by 224% and were 324 million tenge due to an increase in the number of employees and an increase in costs for information technology and professional services.

Revenue and income from securities transactions.

Fee income in the amount of 587 million is primarily related to the following services:
- fees for underwriting services were 221 million tenge (2022: zero) - in 2023 the company acted as an underwriter for bond issues, the total volume of which exceeded 54 billion tenge;
- fees for brokerage services were 332 million tenge, an increase of 347% (2022: 74 million), due to an increase in the volume of funds and client activity.
Net interest and investment income on transactions with currency and securities were 411 million as a result of the growth of the company’s investment portfolio to 3,325 million tenge (2022: 396 million).
