Astana International Exchange announced the winners of the AIX Partners Awards 2025, recognizing the most active participants who played a significant role in the development of the AIX ecosystem. Teniz Capital Brokerage Ltd, a division of the investment bank Teniz Capital Investment Banking, registered with the AIFC, received the award in the nomination “Best Retail Investor Services Provider.”

Last year, we became partners of the AIFC in the Tabys investment application, which was developed and launched by AIX in 2020 as a social project aimed at promoting financial literacy. We are pleased that now, thanks to our joint efforts in promoting investments among Kazakhstanis, more and more of our citizens are opening investment accounts and taking their first steps as investors. Teniz Capital Brokerage Ltd. became a shareholder of the Tabys investment application by acquiring 49% of its shares in March last year. The AIFC retained the controlling 51% stake.
The entry of Teniz Capital Brokerage Ltd. allowed for the expansion of the application’s functionality: in the updated version of the Tabys Pro mobile application, clients gained access to a wide range of instruments — shares and bonds listed on AIX and KASE, access to international markets and other financial instruments. In particular, Tabys Pro was the first in Kazakhstan to launch trading in so-called fractional shares — shares of global giants such as Amazon, Apple, or NVIDIA can be purchased directly in the mobile application starting from small amounts, for example, from just one dollar. The application also provides professional analytics on capital markets and securities, which increases client awareness and positively affects their level of knowledge as investors. The application also features an AI assistant that can explain the status of a client’s portfolio in simple terms.
Clients highly appreciated the updated version of the Tabys Pro mobile application, and the migration of most users from the old application was successfully completed. Currently, more than 20,000 Kazakhstanis actively use the Tabys Pro application. Trading volume in December 2025 reached KZT 13 billion.
